Government contracting can be a complex and highly regulated field, but it can also be highly rewarding and provide great opportunities for those who are familiar with the process. Wouldn't it be nice to have someone to guide you through the process and be your cheerleader?
We offer a weekly coaching session with a Mentor session where you can ask questions and get answers to help you succeed.
The first step to getting started is to understand the basics of the government contracting process. Government contracts are typically issued through a competitive bid process, where contractors submit a proposal for a specific project or task. Contractors must follow specific guidelines and procedures in order to be considered for a contract, such as bid deadlines, payment terms, and reporting requirements. Additionally, contractors must be familiar with the relevant laws and regulations in the field of government contracting. Once you have a good understanding of the basics of government contracting, you can begin to explore the different types of contracts available, such as fixed-price contracts, time-and-material contracts, and cost-reimbursement contracts.
Our goal is to have you taking action within the first week of our mentorship program, while we teach you the theory throughout the program. This is ideally set as a 6 to 8 month program. You're more than welcome to stay longer if you'd like.
